Far from it, my friend. My home is in the conservative cornbelt. My family has been farming in rural Ohio for seven generations. Conservative values are held dear by basically everyone in the entire county I grew up in, and some other conservatives I know are very intelligent and reasonable/rational. I set aside conservative values to analyze an issue I perceive as real from a particular angle, and I must have done pretty well at taking a particular vantage point because you worry that my perspective is lacking. You’ve read a single small piece of my writing — you ought not judge my experience on the basis of that small glimpse alone.
