I do not believe it is any more. In theory, it should be, but there currently exists no force sufficient to counter the concentration of wealth. I suppose massive government overhaul could do it, but I feel there’s about a 0% chance of that happening without some massive upheaval. Unfortunately, I think things will continue to get worse until the populace rises up in a vehement, united demand for change to the system. I want to remain optimistic, but it is hard. Capitalism may well prove to be the worst idea in human history — it may destroy us. Only time will tell.
