It was never something I thought about. I just sat down one day and started writing and clicking publish. Then I kept doing that. Never even looked into sending anything to a publication. I figure if I write good content, the readers will come to me. So far, that’s working out okay; I’ve no plan to target publications anytime soon. The way I see it, if I have to rely on a publication to increase my blog’s exposure rather than the organic exposure my content generates, then I’m not putting out good enough content. If you create something people love, they will find it.
