It’s because most people don’t understand how good making progress can feel. Most people hate their jobs and the work they do; they just go through the motions. Of course, for them, the dream is to work less and have someone else take care of their problems. They don’t understand that, for some of us, there’s no better feeling in the world than making progress.

I don’t mind at all working 12 hour days, as long as I’m working toward what I want because then I’m not just busy, I’m growing. People who lack ambition don’t get this and never will — better to ignore them and move on with your progress.
