You’re Doing It Right When People Start Telling You You’re Doing It Wrong
Great success is, by definition, uncommon.
Those who achieve it are, by definition, extraordinary.
I’m not talking about born-billionaires either. I’m talking about people who rise above their circumstances and find financial freedom and, more importantly, mental tranquility. Very few among us accomplish these feats.
This means that very few people you interact with on a daily basis will have achieved, or ever will achieve, great success.
In other words, most people in your world are common, and they’re doing common things.
So, it’s not surprising that most people you know, including family, will question you when you begin thinking and acting like a person destined for great success.
When you discover something you’re passionate about and start working 14-hour days to pursue it, common people will feel uncomfortable; they will tell you, “take a break.”
“It’s not worth it,” they’ll say, when you rise at 5 am to work on your passion before everyone else wakes up.
They say, “you’ll burn out,” when you skip leisurely activities to work toward your goals.
