You’re probably right. What do I know about any of this… I’m just an amateur blogger trying to turn a penny into a nickle and feeling guilty about it. However, it makes my ulcer a little bigger every time I see some objective bullshit getting claps here on Medium. Maybe there’s nothing to be done about it, maybe there is. I don't claim to know, but I do believe that majority rule doesn’t guarantee the objectively best outcome for the most people (cf. Donal Trump is the president of the United States of not-a-shithole). In other words, the masses will clap for shithole articles on Medium because more masses before them did so — and then we have shithole dogma. Okay — rant over. Thanks for commenting :-)
